After crossing the Simpson Desert in 2011, our next fuel stop was Oodnadatta. As we continued south we spent the night at a waterhole on the Alberga River. At dusk the moon was rising in the East over the waterhole and the next morning at dawn, i caught the moon setting in the West just as the sun was coming up.
